Book Review
Main title:A good new start.
A Series Of Unfortunate Events, The Reptile Room (1999)

Not really any disclaimers although it is not a happy ending.
The main plot is about how the three children Violet, Klaus, and Sunny start a new adventure and go live with there new uncle named Monty. He is a scientist that studies snakes and after the whole incident with them having to go live with Count Olaf they thought that this was so much better then living with Count Olaf. Uncle Monty is a great guy and you could tell that he was going to take great care of the Baudelaire children. He was going to take them on a trip out of the country to go look for more snakes and he had another scientist come to watch the snakes wile they left. So the children where really excited to go on this big trip when all of a sudden the new scientist that was going to be watching the snakes rolls up and the kids freak out because it is a certain someone that the children do not like. so that is pretty much what happens in this book "The Reptile Room".
Through out the whole book the Baudelaire children learn a lot of things and little sunny makes a new friend with one of Monty's snakes. As for Violet and Klaus they help each other out in the whole book mainly just trying to bust Monty's new scientist.
The Reptile Room is a great fiction novel. It is full of adventure and once you start it you will not want to put it down. Kind of like the Bad Beginning you will have that sense of nerve to want to find out what happens next. Now that I have read two of the books from this series I now think that LEMONY SNICKET just has a great imagination and just keeps writing more and I plan on reading all of the books that he has read because I love the way that he writes and tells his stories.
The bad beginning is a elementary level novel. Pretty any one can read this novel or even have this novel be read to and the audience will for sure get what is going on in the story.
I have read the first book of this series and I love it. I loved how LEMONY SNICKET wrote the whole book and so I decided that I was going to read another one and like the first one after I had read the first chapter I was hooked and I could not stop reading it. The book just excites me. I could tell you a lot of quotes from the book but I am only naming two. "You may not get to live another day" and uncle Monty said that to his new scientist. 2nd "You three count as only one" and the mean scientist said that to the children. those are my 2 quotes. That's My Book Review.

The main plot is about three Baudelaire ( Baudelaire is the last name of the children) young children named Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. Violet is the oldest she is really smart and handy with inventing things. Klaus is the second oldest and he also very smart, he reads a lot of book. And that leaves Sunny the youngest, she is still a baby, she is learning to speak but only says like random words. The main thing that she is known for is biting, she loves to bite. The whole book is about how these Three unlucky children have to move to one of there relatives because there parents died in a fire at their gigantic mansion house wile the children where at the beach. This relative that they end up staying with is an evil guy that just wants the their fortune. So he comes up with this evil plan to try and get that money. And that is main plot of the book.
As the three children went through this horrendous experience they all learned something about them selves and each other and to get out of the mess that they got into they needed all three of them to get out of it because they all were good at certain things that needed to be needed at that time.
The Bad Beginning is an adventuress book and it keeps you wanting, craving to read the book and you won't want to put it down. It gives you a sense of you wanting to know what is going to happen next. I think that the author wrote this book because ether he knew someone that something like this happened to or he just has a really interesting mind to be thinking of these cool stories.

The other quote is "Sarcasm is never the answer" and when Count Olaf said that it was because Klaus was being sarcastic. so those are the two quotes that I liked that were in the book.
